Aloha, I am the practicing Speech and Language Pathologist and owner at Total Communication Speech Therapy. I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Utah and a Bachelors of Communication Disorders from Utah State University. I have practiced in private practice, elementary schools, community clinics and in a Developmental Diagnosis clinic.

I learned I loved language while nannying toddlers and seeing them use gestures, signs, and speech to communicate. Seeing a toddler point to the cookie jar, sign “more", and make the sound “yummy” made me understand that that little girl LOVES cookies and wants some! I appreciate the fact that communication comes in all shapes and forms, including but not limited to speech.

I’ve since then have learned the power of a communication device, such as a language software, for keiki who are still developing their small oral muscle coordinations, and have seen many ‘ohana enjoy using them to interact with their loved ones.

On my free time I enjoy snorkeling, beaching and hiking with my kiddo.
